Welcome, I am Monica Bernhard, Director of Bremerton Foodline.

ANNOUNCEMENT

On Nov. 20, at the BFL facility the Washington State Chef’s Association unveiled their Food Bank cook book dedicated to providing food bank clients across the state recipes for delicious meals made from ingredients typically available at food banks.  BFL will sell these cook books for $1.00 for registered clients and $5.95 to the general public.  A new recipe from the cook book will be published on this website once a month [link].

It is the holiday season.  BFL is expecting a large turnout for Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets.  If you wish to receive a basket please sign up as soon as possible.
Nov. 22 – Thanksgiving baskets will be assembled. Volunteers needed.
Nov. 23 -  Thanksgiving baskets will be distributed (noon to 4:00 pm)
Nov. 24 & 25 – Thanksgiving baskets will be distributed (10:00 am to 1:45 pm)

Dec. 20 – Christmas baskets will be assembled.  Volunteers needed.
Dec. 21 – Christmas baskets will be distributed (noon to 4:00 pm)
Dec. 22 & 23 – Christmas baskets will be distributed (10:00 am to 1:45 pm)

The security gates have been repaired thanks to prompt and reasonable service from FenceCo.  Also, thanks to Michael Biggs, PE, President of Washington Engineering for his advice regarding our broken gate. And a special thanks to the Bremerton Central Lyons for donating the cost of the gate repairs.

The Bremerton Foodline facility will be open regular hours on the last Saturday of each month starting Saturday, September 27, except in Nov. and Dec.

Special thanks to Naturally4Paws in Silverdale for their kind donation of 450 pounds of pet food very much needed for the holidays.

  • Provide warehousing and distribution services to our food bank partners.
