NEED HELP?

NEW CLIENT BROCHURE [Link]

EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE – Bremerton Foodline tries to provide emergency food sufficient for a balanced diet for three to four days. Specific quantities and contents vary with family size and item availability. Clients may request this service once a month.

To get assistance new clients need to bring picture identification and proof of current address (e.g. utility bill, medical coupon, etc.)

COMMODITY SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD PROGRAM – BFL is a distributor of USDA commodities. Those eligible for commodities need to bring identification showing a local address plus declare that they meet state income limits. Availability and contents vary monthly depending on what is distributed to us.

HOLIDAY BASKETS – Special food baskets are provided for Thanksgiving and Christmas which are enhanced with holiday-related food items. Toys and clothing are provided for children as supplies permit.

FOOD STAMPS ENROLLMENT NOW AVAILABLE – Are you low income and need more food for your family?  If so, the Bremerton Foodline may be able to help.  Susan Robinson, our Outreach Coordinator, can meet with you one-on-one to apply for the Basic Food program, also known as Food Stamps.  The amount you receive will depend on a variety of factors including your income, financial resources, and monthly expenses. If you are awarded food stamps, the funds will be deposited monthly on a debit card for use at local grocery stores.  If you have been part of the Basic Food program in the past, but need to reapply, we can assist with that as well.  Please email Susan Robinson at susanrobinson@bremertonfoodline.net or contact her at (360)479-6188 to make an appointment today.

UTILITIES AND HOUSING HELP – Limited resources are available for emergency help with home utility bills and rental assistance on a case by case basis.
