FOOD RECALLS
The Bremerton Foodline is informed on a regular basis of products being recalled or otherwise not safe for consumption by our clients. Our policy is to respond to all recall notifications immediately by removing these items from our inventory.
PEANUT BUTTER PRODUCTS
With respect to the current recall of peanut butter products, the list of pulled items is so lengthy that it is prohibitive for us to sort through which items are safe or not. Therefore, as a precaution, we have decided to pull all product from our shelves that we find to contain peanut butter in the list of ingredients, with the exception being jar peanut butter from major brands, which has been deemed safe. As an added safeguard, we encourage our clients to be vigilant in reviewing ingredients lists before serving any products which may contain peanut butter to their families.
